Irena Milobratovic is the Founder and CEO of Indaea OÜ, a consultancy dedicated to empowering innovation in life sciences through regulatory, clinical, and sustainability-driven strategies. With over 20 years of experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical and medtech industries—and more than 15 of those in regulatory affairs—she has supported global clients in bringing their products from early development through market access and lifecycle maintenance across the EU, US, and beyond.

Irena holds a degree in pharmacy and is a certified Regulatory Affairs Professional (RAC EU), credentials that underpin her deep expertise in the life sciences sector. Her academic background, combined with continuous professional development, has equipped her to expertly navigate complex regulatory environments. Over the years, she has honed her skills through diverse roles spanning regulatory leadership, consultancy, and product review for notified bodies, enabling her to contribute effectively across the entire product lifecycle. Irena’s commitment to lifelong learning ensures she remains at the forefront of evolving regulatory landscapes, consistently applying the latest standards and best practices to support innovation and patient safety.

She has served the regulatory community as a long-time RAPS volunteer, author, speaker, and committee member, contributing to regulatory education and evolving thought leadership in the field. Her expertise includes clinical trial applications, product development planning, regulatory writing, and technical documentation across both medicinal products and medical devices.

Outside of her professional life, Irena embraces her multifaceted identity as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, refugee, immigrant, and returnee to her homeland. She is also an Estonian e-resident and a lifelong learner devoted to building inclusive, empowered communities within life sciences.

Her leadership is rooted in purpose, continuous improvement, and a belief that science—when nurtured by integrity, human-centricity, and collaboration—can shape a healthier and more sustainable world.

Djuro brings over 20 years of multifaceted experience across hospitality, telecommunications, logistics, and environmental services, with the last 13+ years dedicated to the ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap recycling industry. His expertise lies at the intersection of industrial operations and sustainability, where he continuously drives innovative practices to optimize resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Holding degrees in Hotel Management and International Affairs, Djuro combines a global perspective with a service-oriented mindset. This unique background allows him to approach sustainability challenges holistically, recognizing the critical balance between economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

As a committed advocate for sustainable development, Djuro’s professional mission is deeply rooted in his family heritage—coming from a lineage of beekeepers that instilled in him a profound respect for nature and the delicate ecosystems that sustain life. This legacy fuels his passion for empowering family-owned businesses and small entrepreneurs, understanding their pivotal role in building resilient and sustainable communities.

Djuro’s personal journey has shaped his leadership and vision. A devoted father of two, husband, son, brother, and friend, he has also experienced life as a refugee, immigrant, and returnee to his homeland. These experiences have instilled in him resilience, empathy, and a drive to foster inclusive growth and empowerment in all spheres of life.

Throughout his career, Djuro has transitioned from a foreign-trained student intern to an influential industry contributor and sustainability champion. He leverages his broad hands-on experience and strategic insight to support businesses in adopting sustainable models that align with today’s environmental imperatives.
